Everyone loves a bright, white smile. Today, there are a variety of products and procedures available to help you improve the color of your teeth. For a one visit, in office whitening, we use the Zoom system. We also offer custom or ready to use trays. Whitening agents can be purchased over-the-counter. However, over-the-counter whitening agents have a lower concentration of the whitening component and will not whiten teeth as quickly or as effectively as those done in office.

Veneers

Dental veneers or laminates are very thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth. The veneers are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Dental veneers can be made either from porcelain or from resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers resist stains better than resin veneers and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth.

Veneers are used to fix teeth that are discolored, worn down, chipped or broken, misaligned, uneven, irregularly shaped or to close gaps between teeth.

Braces / Orthodontics

We all aspire to have perfectly straight teeth, although not many of us meet the criteria. Few children have perfectly symmetrical teeth and a perfect bite. In an ideal bite, all teeth fit perfectly without crowding or spacing, teeth are not rotated, twisted, or leaning forward or backward and the teeth of the upper and lower jaw mesh perfectly. Orthodontic treatment may be indicated not only to improve aesthetics, but also to bring teeth into proper alignment to increase the efficiency of chewing. Proper alignment of the teeth has significant impact on the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), the joint of the lower jaw (mandible) with the skull, since misalignment of the jaws may be a cause of TMJ pain, earaches, headaches and neck pain.

Invisalign**

The Invisalign system for orthodontic treatment consists of a series of custom-made, clear aligners which are made tailor made for each individual and is dependent on the type of tooth movement that is required. The aligners are made of a smooth plastic that are worn throughout the day/night and are removed when eating or brushing/flossing of teeth. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks. The number of aligners and the length of treatment is the dependent upon the complexity of the tooth movement required to achieve the desired result. Orthodontic services provided by general dentist
